Setup Instructions

We are using the Valhelsia 3 modpack with just a few modifications.

• If you don't already have CurseForge, download and install it

• Use CurseForge to install Valhelsia 3, version 3.5.1

• If you can, increase the amount of RAM allocated to the Valhelsia profile, 6gb is recommended

• Download the jar files for Simple Voice Chat and Open Terrain Generator

  • Install these jar files by clicking on the three dots in the Valhelsia profile in CurseForge, then click Open Folder, then open the mods folder and copy the jars inside

• Download Optifine 1.16.5 HD U G8

  • Once this is downloaded, double click on the jar to open it, when the menu comes up click extract instead of install. This will give you a jar file that you can install just like the above mods.

  • If you get an error message, you may need to start the modpack once first, or start a vanilla version of 1.16.5 first

• If you have an error with you Java runtime environment, try installing JDK 11 from Adoptium or anywhere you can get Java

That's it! You should be able to connect to the server, provided it is online. If you have questions or need help, feel free to reach out.
